Online oil in water monitoring devices needed...

(OP)
Does anyone have experience with oil-in-water analysers for detecting mineral oil (petroleum hydrocarbons - various fractions from volatiles to heavy ends) passing through a CPI unit? Limits of detection would need to be in range of 5-10 ppm. Are such analysers available for measuring dissolved phase? or do they measure free phase? Any reputable suppliers contact details would be appreciated. Apparently there are some interesting fluorescence meters on the market for just that
purpose.  Does anyone know of these?

RE: Online oil in water monitoring devices needed...

If of any use, an old water treatment qualitative test on hot steam condensate samples is to drop a few flecks of camphor (available at your local drugstore) on top of the sample in a clean beaker and see if it "dances" on top of the water (oil free) or not (oil contaminated, even a few ppm)...
