READ ONLY SETTING & PDM

READ ONLY SETTING & PDM

READ ONLY SETTING & PDM

(OP)
I recently bumped from SP2.2 to SP4.0. Prior to that bump... maybe a week or 2... I had swithced a setting or 2. I used to be able to take or release ownership of a file & it would instantly update the status of that currently open file. In other words... at the very top of my screen it would say... "SolidWorks 2007 - [filename.SLDASM](read only)"

Now I want that settting back & can't find it.

Please advise...

RE: READ ONLY SETTING & PDM

Make sure the Option Collaboration, Multi User Environment is checked?

RE: READ ONLY SETTING & PDM

This type of thing has happened to me before where I've installed an SP and something that was checked or set had to be redone. SolidWorks likes to keep you on your toes.
