RE: hole table
The tabular note is the only way to create a chart or table. It is not very robust (Catia has a much better one), but it is all that is available in UG.
When you create the tabular note, you need to play around with it a little to see how it works. To begin with, select rows and columns by hovering the cursor. You can select an individual row/column and then right click for options.
You can select the entire chart by hovering over the upper left corner (I think that is the default), then use your right click to explore the options.
In Preferences, click on the Cells tab and the Sections tab to set up your text options (centered or left, right, etc.), trailing zeros, etc.
Good luck,

RE: hole table
This methodology isn't too bad, especially if you don't have too many holes. If your talking about a bazillion holes... well, good luck with this approach. :P

CAD should pay for itself, shouldn't it?
RE: hole table
so there is no function for this problem? arrrh
i used solid edge before, there is a simple solution, pick the origin, the holes, and the command lists all the selected holes with xy coordinates and diameters to a hole table.
i'm disappointed in UG..
