The article or the data sheet that came with it isn't specific?

Before this thread is likely expunged because it is obviously NOT a professional engineer discussing business as the forum's rules require I will pass on my thoughts.

Earth = ground or any bare metal on the chassis.

"Circuit to be broken" Is some circuit that will kill the engine.  It can be the ignition or a fuel solenoid control line.

12V fused is just that! Find twelve volts that must be on for the car to run and make sure you put a fuse in-line with it or that you tap off an accessory post that's already fused in the main fuse box.
