Ordinate Dimensioning Origin Indicator

Ordinate Dimensioning Origin Indicator

(OP)
I am using Inventor 10, and have a problem getting rid of the origin indicator (dowel pin symbol) that is placed when an ordinate dimension is created.  The symbol can be hidden, but I cannot find a way to delete it.  Any advice would be much appreciated.  Thanks.

RE: Ordinate Dimensioning Origin Indicator

If you delete your origin indicator, then how will IV now where the dimension is taken from (point of reference?)
