Expanded Weldment Profile Library...

Hi all,

Does anyone know of any third party packages that may offer an expander pack for the stock SW Weldment Profile Library?  I know they are reasonably easy to create myself, however; I have bigger fish to fry and would rather purchased them already done.  Call me lazy...tongue

RE: Expanded Weldment Profile Library...

Hi Lazy, wink

Which version of SW?  SW07 added loads of profiles under the SolidWorks Content in the Design Library > Weldments section.

cheers

Got 'em.  Not exactly what I expected. surprise They are all dumped inside Zip Files and not segregated by their "structural architecture"; darn it. thumbsdown I was really looking for some Aluminum Structural components.  I'll dig into the files a little deeper once I get them sorted out! thumbsup2

Thanks Cor...

" ... not segregated by their "structural architecture" "???

You mean, channel, I beam, angle, pipe, etc?  My download was.

cheers

RE: Expanded Weldment Profile Library...

Extract the zip and it will put everything in its folder.

My ZIP file had like, 2046 part files in it, with no folder segregation, as in Channel, I-Beam...

I guess I can put everything in it's respective folder, there are only 2046 to sort through.
