Cut Off Valve Question Yanmar B27 2a Mini Excavator
Cut Off Valve Question Yanmar B27 2a Mini Excavator
(OP)
Hello,
This is my first post and I'm new to Hydraulics and excavators.
I recently purchase a Yanmar B27 Mini Excavator without any manuals but have purchased a service manual since.
First question is about operation. It has a lever (kind of like a stick shift that would go between two gears) that I believe connects to the Cut Off valve. Does anyone know what this is for? I thought it was a high low gear shift but found out that the two speed operation is achieved with a pedal?
Second question, while I was moving the machine I shifted the lever in question and now my Boom is not operational. The cut off valve that I think connects to the above lever has a cylinder (spool?) that is projecting out of it? Any ideas on how to fix the problem and what the cut off valve is for would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Mike

I just bought a Yanmar B27 myself and am looking for a service/shop manual for the machine. I see that you found one, can you direct me as to where I might get one too?
How did you resolve the boom problem?
Are you happy with the machine?
Thanks...Gee
