opening acad2000 dwgs in R14.

(OP)
Is this possible?

RE: opening acad2000 dwgs in R14.

Nope. Have your client save the drawing back as R14 and resend it to you.

RE: opening acad2000 dwgs in R14.

No, but if you download the newest version of intelliCAD you can view, edit, and save back into R14 format. You'll also find that the command structure is the same if you play with it.

RE: opening acad2000 dwgs in R14.

RE: opening acad2000 dwgs in R14.

You could alternatively use VoloView to view 2002, 2000, R14, R13, R12, R11 & R10 drawings. You can create markups, plot, manipulate layers, zoom, pan, etc... only you cannot change the original drawing. There is also a routine in the migration assistance to batch convert between 2002, 2000, R14 & R13. Not sure if it will work on R14 installations though.
