From time to time I have seen requests on how Grade 91 material should be welded, and current industry problems with fabrication (heat treatment). The web site below contains some excellent information on welding Grade 91 material, and probably more important are actual photomicrographs of the weld, HAZ and BM.

For those that have been performing field hardness testing and surface replication of Grade 91 pipe and fittings, I believe the montage of photomicrographs is valuable for comparison;
