Annoyed by "un-saved document notification" on 2007?

Annoyed by "un-saved document notification" on 2007?

(OP)
In SW 2007, the "Un-saved document notification" message can be annoying and it can interrupt other SolidWorks activities. Also,Solidworks help doesn't describe any method for changing its settings or turning if off. If you find it is annoying you, then go to Tools pulldown>Options>System Options tab>Backup/Recover. Then look in the Save notification area. Uncheck to remove reminders, or change the settings to increase the reminder intervals.  I hope someone finds this helpful.

RE: Annoyed by "un-saved document notification" on 2007?

Matt,
    Your tip helped me.
I never used the reminder anyway. So, your reminder to turn it off helped me remember to turn if off. A star for you.
Thanks.

Strangely enough, I find it helpful to remind me to save. smile

I can't find it at the moment, but I believe there are also options to change the transparency of the reminder (to make it less obtrusive) and its viewing duration.

cheers
