Parts/Custom Properties

Parts/Custom Properties

Parts/Custom Properties

(OP)
Hi all.

Parts were made before I made them in Custom Properties. Is there a way to save them to templates?

Thanks

Rip

RE: Parts/Custom Properties

Rip,

If I understand you correctly, you are asking how to save existing parts with new templates.  Quick answer is that you can't.  However, adding custom properties is a simple matter.  There are several macros that will propogate custom properties for your, either on an on-going basis, or whole folders.  Qeustion is, what exactly are you looking for?

See Lenny's site: http://www.lennyworks.com/solidworks/default.asp?ID=20  for FixProperties

I also have an immediate editor at: http://sw.fcsuper.com/index.php?name=UpDownload&req=MostPopular

I hope this helps!
