Hello
I've created a website,  www.corrosionist.com, dedicated to Corrosion & Materials selection with free articles and documents, software & standard found on the net.
I've included in the site three search engine based on a tool of Google that allow to make Google search only in selected site.
One is Corrosion Search Engine that will make search only in site dedicated to Corrosion , approx 50 site are included.
On is Material Search Engine that will make search in site regarding Materials properties
One a forum search that make search only in forum dedicated to  Corrosion.
I'll appreciate if you can give me your feedback on the site and the search  engine and tell me if u find it useful or if you have suggestion/comments.

thanks

RE: Corrosion search engine

Is this a for-profit site? If it is, I'm not criticizing. It's good to know how people aree using the web to do something. I don't like our current system in which originators of content are not reimbursed while publishers reap revenues.

Mc

It's non a profit site, the only things are the google ads but you can forget about it and just use the site and the search engine and i dont' earn a dollar.

Since i'm a corrosion engineer and i use the net looking for documentations for my job, I thought that a similar website with a more targeted search engine was something good for other people involved in Corrosion & Materials selection.
I've seen a lot of good topics in this forum and there are very skilled professional in corrosion and the comment/suggestion on what i've created will be appreciated.
regards

V.
