Cyrogenic Manhole

Cyrogenic Manhole

(OP)
Hi Friend
I have problem with manhole low temperature suction drum in JT/TurboExpander section. The Design temperature minus 80C and design pressure 78barg. Operating pressure and temperature 62barg and minus 70C. Manholes 20"x600#. All Materials Stainless Steel 316. While shifting TExp to JT valve, the pressure in vessel will increased to 68barg and sabile back to 62barg, and make the Gasket burst, 4 times already happened. Anyone experience on this and what is the solution?
Thanks

RE: Cyrogenic Manhole

A little more information please.

What type gasket?

What is the fastener torque?

Can you explain your design condition a little better?
