Editing Blocks

(OP)
Okay guys, here is our situation.  I am helping convert our dept. from Microstation V8 to SW '06.  When creating (converting to 2D sketch) blocks (i.e. wiring diagrams) which were created in Microstation in bright colors with a black background environment. Seems everyone is having a fit over colored drawing details. (Don't ask!)

Here is my question: Is there a way in SW to convert the colors of a sketch in a block "after" they are already created from converting to a 2d sketch?

I really don't want to have to convert them in Microstation before I import them due to its default background being black and the additional steps involved.

RE: Editing Blocks

I haven't tried, but you should be able to use the Edit Block function and then move selected geometry to layers with different colours.

cheers
