PVC labeling
PVC labeling
(OP)
I have a thin strip of black PVC which needs to have a part Serial Number and Lot Number printed on both sides of the strip. Currently we have a one-sided thermal transfer labeller which works fine for the strip of rubberized fabric being used, but will not work for the black PVC. I was thinking of using some kind of sticker as label, which would require a different machine and developing a process to apply the sticker.
Does anyone have any ideas of a labelling process which can be applied two-sided and would be more efficient than applying a sticker?

With the right ribbon it may be possible to use a TTP print head, but double-sided will be tough.

The printable area of the PVC strip is 9" x 0.5" x 0.018" (Length x Width x Thickness). The strip is used as an activator "pull-strap" on a nozzle assembly. We recieve the nozzle/strap unit already assembled from our supplier in China so it makes using a standard TTP print head rather tricky.
Thanks for the suggestions.
