I am trying to measure and exact point in icepak, but every time I run a simulation the surface probe hits a point that is not exactly the same as last time, is there a better way to go about this or a way to setup the surface probe to measure an exact point??

RE: icepak

have you tried setting up a monitor point? You can set it up either by picking the point on the screen or entering in x,y,z coordinates. Then under the report function - chose define point report - new - pick the point and read off the temperature, pressure, or velocity.

The nice thing is you can also see the convergence report for this point to see how well it solved

hey thanks, monitoring points and regular points are perfect, I was unaware icepak had this feature
