Commercial airliner 3D templates?

Commercial airliner 3D templates?

(OP)

Does anyone know where I could get templates for commercial airliners to use for graphics and livery designs etc? I can find some 2D 3 views but I really need the 3D to get all the data I need.

I am mostly looking for Boeing and Airbus.

Thanks-

Hi Khaine, if i read your post correctly, then you mean your after 3D CAD models of varying aircraft type so that you can design the liveries for them?? I am sure that i have seen models to buy on the web, and i'm racking my brain to remember the address. Will have a look now. Are you specific to a CAD package?

Yes, I should have specified CAD… it has been a long week around here.

You are on the right track. Anything you can come up with would be greatly appreciated.

RE: Commercial airliner 3D templates?

The type of cad package your using would help??
And your right about the long week!

AutoCAD 2004
IronCAD
Strata CX5

The week is almost over - and if ya can help me out on this I'll toast to ya with a beer in a few hours.

RE: Commercial airliner 3D templates?

Here you are:

www.3dcadbrowser.com

The models can be downloaded into loads of different file types for differing platforms.

Dont know if it actually costs anything, but if you look hard enough i'm sure someone has them for free.

I cant actually vouch for their accuracy, as they are not produced by either Airbus or Boeing, but for all intents and purposes they should  suffice.

Enjoy your beer.
