Taped holes and Cosmetic threads apperaance ???

Taped holes and Cosmetic threads apperaance ???

Taped holes and Cosmetic threads apperaance ???

(OP)
Running 2007 SW  ( SP2)
I have noticed that when you have a "taped Hole" that it doesnt always simulate  as such.

I have been going back and trying different options in the dialog and it does well for the drawing showing the minor and major diameter..

I have made sure that Annotations is "ON"..  "SHow All" also..

Other times I create a a model and it works well..

Is there a bug and has anyone else experienced the same.

Comments please

RE: Taped holes and Cosmetic threads apperaance ???

Do you mean 'tapered' or 'tapped' hole?

RE: Taped holes and Cosmetic threads apperaance ???

I have not experienced problems with cosmetic threads, other than not being able to adjust the appearance to a realistic image. But that has been for the last few versions.

Can you update to latest SP?

Are you video card and driver SW certified?

cheers

I have found that sometimes reassigning the material clears up this issue...
