Boiler book question

Boiler book question

Boiler book question

(OP)
Has anyone read or used this book that can give me their opinion? It is on Amazon but without any customer reviews.

Power Boiler Design, Inspection, and Repair
Mohammad A. Malek.

I would appreciate any feedback from someone who if familiar with it.

Thanks.

RE: Boiler book question

PVinspector;
Have not seen, or heard anyone mention this specific book in my dealings with Fossil Power Generation. If you want the best reference information on Power Boiler design from top to bottom, I would suggest you get a copy of "Steam" by the Babcock and Wilcox Co. It is one of the best (I hope I did not offend any of my CE/ABB/AP/FW/RS associates).

I second the recomendations made by "metengr"..

"Steam" is the best $100 I have ever spent..

Thanks for the responses. I do have the 40th edittion of B&W's "Steam: Its Generation and Use" and it is an excellent reference book.
