CAP SCREWS FOR PED APPLICATION

CAP SCREWS FOR PED APPLICATION

Are there any US cap screw suppliers out there willing to quote complying with the documentation requirements of EN10204 Type 2.2?

(PED = Pressure Equipment Directive)

RE: CAP SCREWS FOR PED APPLICATION

I'm sure there are.

RE: CAP SCREWS FOR PED APPLICATION

How many pieces?

If it is low quantity, then I would look at an aerospace manufacturer (they are used to low quantities and high testing/qualification requirements).

If it is high quantities, how about one of the big multinationals (Acument, ITW) that could leverage the knowledge of their European operations?

Check the Industrial Fastener Institute's search feature:

CoryPad,

Thank you for the information. I submitted additional requests for quotes to some of the suppliers on the IFI website.

I have received nine (9) no quotes and not one (1) quote. I am looking for ASTM A193 B7/B7M hex cap screws with EN10204 Type 2.2 documentation. I requested quotes for quantities of 100, 250, 500 and 1000.

I was hoping someone willing to quote this would see my question and identify their company.

Thank you.
