Pro/E import configuration

Pro/E import configuration

Pro/E import configuration

(OP)
I just installed ANSYS v11 and I'm trying to configure Proe/E so I can import. When I open ANS_ADMIN, I don't have the Pro/E  option like I had in 10. ANSYSGeom is integrated in Pro/E but it takes 5 minutes just to import a plate. Any help is appreciated.

Oh and I'm running Wilfire 3.0 M070.

RE: Pro/E import configuration

If you look in the release notes, you'll see that they removed this utility from the ANS_ADMIN utility.

The settings are now defined in the config.anscon file.

Hope this helps,
Doug

Thanks a lot doatis

"Pro/ENGINEER and Unigraphics configuration can now be completed as part of the ANSYS or ANSYS Workbench installation"

Ok, but what if the installation didn't get it right? Going from Pro/E to ANSYS works fine now, but importing from ANSYS still doesn't work.
