4-way Linear Slide

4-way Linear Slide

4-way Linear Slide

(OP)
I was hoping someone could help me.  I've been looking high and low for a 4-way (side to side, front to back), manual, linear slide that I can use for fixturing a part to tap 4 holes.  I've seen these before, It's looks like one unit stacked on another allowing this motion.  Anyone have any idea where I might find something like this?

Thank you

RE: 4-way Linear Slide

Do you mean an X-Y table?

That sounds right as long as it easily slides from one side to the other in both the x & y.  I've seen some of these set up with micrometer adjustment - I don't need that.  So, yes an x-y table sounds right.  Lack of terminology. Sorry.  That description seemed to give me a lot of hits.  Let me digest them and see.  Thank you.

Thank you for your replies.  I think I'm on the right path now.
