DC drive to AC drive retrofit

(OP)
I have an application that requires retrofitting a DC motor and drive with an AC motor and drive. The application is the spindle of a CNC lathe. I have the nameplate data of the DC motor.  KW 15/22   AMPS 78/118   FLD AMPS 9.7/2.4  VOLTS 220  RPM 1150/3450  I am looking for suggestions on how to calculate the size of the AC motor and drive that would be needed to replace the existing system. Any info or links on this subjest would be appreciated. Thanks

RE: DC drive to AC drive retrofit

Allen Bradley can help you with this one. They have a program to help convert over to a Flux Vector Drive. Of course they would like you to use there's. I don't have a website just call your local Rockwell service center or distributor.
