This is a continuation of  thread378-150839: High viscosity clear fluid wanted

I finally got to the stage of trying this project and the corn syrup looks beautiful!  Unfortunately it has too high of a viscosity; the 'bits' take an extremely long time to settle and some even float to the top (lower density than the corn syrup).

Does anybody know how to thin (reduce the viscosity of) corn syrup?  What can I mix with it that won't separate?

After that initial scare as it clouds up it clears up beautifully as you continue to stir.  2/3 CS to 1/3 water is great.  Thanks CP!  Have a star!
