full list of "hotkey" combination

full list of "hotkey" combination

(OP)
I would like to find a full listing of hotkeys/menu accelerator key combinations for NX2 and NX4.  I have looked through the help documentation and cannot find a full listing of keystroke combination = function type listing.

Has anyone ever come across this type of list?  If so, where might I find it?

Thanks in advance.

RE: full list of "hotkey" combination

I can't help you out with UGS NX 2 since we didn't add this feature until UGS NX 4, but you can now go to Tools -> Customize... and when the Customize dialog comes up select the button at the bottom labeled 'Keyboard...' and when that dialog comes up, select the button labeled 'Report'.  That should give you what you're looking for.  Also note that that last dialog is where you can edit and/or add your own keyboard (hot-key) commands for whatever function you wish.

Just remember, UGS products at least work at the initial release. PTC products take until M100 before they are stable enough (out of user beta testing) to be used in production.

RE: full list of "hotkey" combination

UGperson,

Good tip I've used those as well since they were introduced in "NX2".

I also forgot the ones for the selection tool.
G Select Geometry
F Select Features
C Select Components

Isn't there also a shortcut in drafting
T Tolerance type?

For NX 5 those have changed slightly.  Now they are no longer modes, but rather priorities and there are now 5 of them:

F  Features have priority
G  Faces have priority
B  Bodies have priority
E  Edges have priority
C  Components have priority

Remember, since these are NOT modes, nothing is filtered-out.  That is, all objects are selectable, just that you can change the priority as to which object type gets selected ahead of otehrs if there are more than one type inside the pick circle.
