Does anyone know of a resource on galvanized iron shapes tables? Any leads will be appreciated.

RE: Galvanized Iron Section Properties Tables

Are you talking about normal structural shapes which are galvanized?

RE: Galvanized Iron Section Properties Tables

(OP)
Yes, I would like to know if there are any factors that increase or decrease allowable stresses.

RE: Galvanized Iron Section Properties Tables

Rarebug,

By your posts I assume you are talking about structural steel, not iron.

For normal structural grade steel (36 ksi to 50 ksi) the galvanising process does not have any significant effects on the properties. Design them as per normal steel sections.

Yes, I was thinking about steel (iron plus carbon galvanized)
