Hi, I'm searching for any national standards or regulations of safe separation distance between transmission tower (over 154 kV with overhead groundwire)
and nearby buried gas pipeline.
Any comment or input is very appreciated.

Two major effects can be expected from long distance paralleling transmission line and pipeline.
•    Potentially life-threatening for operations personnel to touch the pipeline.

•    Accelerated corrosion on the pipeline.

To mitigate the negative impact of the AC transmission line, the pipeline should be grounded with a system such as passes AC, but blocks DC, to maintain the cathodic protection system to prevent excessive corrosion in the pipeline.
