Composite sliding bushing

Composite sliding bushing

Composite sliding bushing

(OP)
Hello everybody!
I'm new here and I would like some help if it is possible.
I want to study the wear of a composite sliding bushing and I need to know the value of some parameters. The material is a composite made by:
- a phenol resin matrix
- woven material of thermoplastic polyester (PET)
- autolubricated by particles of PTFE

and the counter surface the next steel: St 52-3

The paremeters I don't know are the PV limit, the maximum velocity and the maximum contact pressure.

Any data, altough it's not the exact one because it's another material, or any website to search it would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the answer, it has been very useful. One of its materials is very similar to mine and the properties can be found in its datasheet.

Contact POLYGON COMPANY at www.polygoncompany.com and request a design guide - they also have PDF's on line.  This company is a R&D company that has been around for 57 years.  They know their stuff.  Give them a call - they are very good and they know the composite bearing, tubing and bushing business.

Thanks for the information but I still have a problem and it's that I can't find a similar enough material to mine. The problem is that I don't know the PV limit of mine and if I find a material with similar properties, I can use its PV limit for mine, but I havent' succeed by the moment.

My material is this one:

It is in Dutich but it's pretty understandable. If you know or find a material with similar properties and with a PV limit that I can use, please, notify me.

Thanks a lot in advance.
