How to find a part in a big assembly file?

(OP)
A big assembly file contains a lot of parts and subassembly that are named by a number. Could somebody tell me how find a part in Model tree? like search or find command...Thank you.

RE: How to find a part in a big assembly file?

Are you using Wildfire 2?
If so you can search for components using the 'Find' command. The icon is a set of binoculars at the top of the screen, or you can find it at the bottom of the 'EDIT' dropdown menu.

If its an earlier version of pro/e, Im afraid I cant remember that far back :(

RE: How to find a part in a big assembly file?

WHEN USING THE FIND SET THE OPTIONS TO "Component or Feature" & ENTER YOUR NO. IN THE "VALUE" BOX.
