Invalid Object Index, file is corrupt

Invalid Object Index, file is corrupt

Invalid Object Index, file is corrupt

(OP)
I just started getting this message.  I create a new drawing, add the model, save, close & then repoen.

I get the error & it closes the drawing.

Here is the error:

"Invalid Object Index, file is corrupt"

Using SWX PE 2005.

Thanks

RE: Invalid Object Index, file is corrupt

I don't know much about the SolidWorks Personal Edition, but I do know that its licence is only good for 90 days. It does have an option for renewal but I don't believe it can be renewed indefinitely. Considering it's the 2005 version, perhaps the time limit has expired?

cheers

RE: Invalid Object Index, file is corrupt

I agree with CBL, and to answer your question the file is most likely corrupt and only SW can fix a corrupt file. However I don't think they fix PE files.

I have only had this installed for about 1 week & I think it is a license issue also since it is doing it on my home computer.  I will post the results after I talk to my reseller.

Thanks

Well....they do not know.  No one apparently has had this problem, but I can re-create it on 3 different computers.  I issued my PO today for the full version.

Thanks for the help.
