mastercam x and x2

(OP)
Does anyone have experience with both of these programs?  I just took the x2 course but want to buy this book to get an idea what can be done that we didnt cover.

I dont know how different the programs are from eachother.  Would it be worth buying this book? Or wait for the next one to come out for x2.  Thanks for any input.

RE: mastercam x and x2

If you took the X2 course then I don't see a need for this book.  I would buy the book if it cost $40 but not a $100.  I would refer to the X2 help which can be helpful.
