Selecting Multiple Objects

Selecting Multiple Objects

Selecting Multiple Objects

(OP)
How can you search for and then select similar objects? For instance, say I open an assembly and it's cluttered with multiple axis systems.  How can I search all axis systems, then select and hide them all simultaneously?

RE: Selecting Multiple Objects

1- In the power bar write this: t:ax*,all. Open the tree, choose one which is visible, Right button and hide.

2- go thru EDIT->SEARCH and then choose PART from the Workbench combo box and Axis system from the Type Combo Box. Then hit binoculars, hit Select, go to one of them and hide it. All of them will hide.

RE: Selecting Multiple Objects

This was more or less covered in thread560-187797: Globally selecting xyz planes in V5? the other day, but the eadiest way is to follow the path highlighted in this picture.

Tools => Hide => All Axis Systems
