Body operations in Pro/E

Body operations in Pro/E

Body operations in Pro/E

(OP)
Hello all,

Good day, here is a 2 part question:

1) Are there body operations in Pro/E (e.g. copy body, move body)?

2) Is there a way to copy a body from one part to another part (i.e. copy the topology and not the features per se)?

CATIA and SWX have these commands. I haven't found them in Pro/E yet.

Thanking you in advance,

Joseph

RE: Body operations in Pro/E

1- ProE does not have the boolean body operations, like CATIA. You cannot have multiple bodies in a single part.

2- You can copy the entire part into another part using either merge operations or: shared data->copy geometry from other model

Hello Hora,

Thank you, the one that works best for us appears to be:

Insert > Shared Data > Merge from other model

Could not have found it without your help.

Cheers,
