Color in Program

Color in Program

Color in Program

(OP)
Is there a way to program pro-e so he can change the color of a part when a parameter changes?

like,

IF MATERIAL == RUBBER
       COLOR == BLACK
ELSE
      IF MATERIAL == STEEL
             COLOR == GREY
      ENDIF
ENDIF

Thanks

RE: Color in Program

I've never tried it but have seen a similar question before.  If I remember correctly, the answer goes something like this.  Color the part Black.  Create a very shallow surface cut/protrusion and color the surface Grey.  Then use a family table to toggle the surface feature on/off.

Good luck,
<tg>

RE: Color in Program

There is not such a system parameter for the color. You can only do this using ProToolkit functions, without any workaround.
