lofting a Y Duct

lofting a Y Duct

Hi
I'm new to these forums and what a great wealth of information reside here.

My question is with regards to Lofting a Y Duct like the sort thats used in HVAC, I can draw this with 3 circles located on 3 planes and extrude this but How about the loft feature is this possible ? I had 3 guide curves from the  each Profile to a common point in the center of the sketch, I can't figure it out.

TIA

RE: lofting a Y Duct

I think you can make three extrusions come together, combine them, then shell.

RE: lofting a Y Duct

The loft will not work here.

The loft and sweep commands need to travel from a start point to an end point.  Multiple directions are not allowed.

I think Sweep and Shell is the way to go.
