Great Forum - wish I had found it ages ago!

Does anyone know of a used machinery dealer that might have a 355kW LSE motor? I am looking for a 4 pole, 440V, 355/630 frame spare for a centrifugal pump.

RE: 355kW Laurence Scott Electromotor

Where are you? I guess you are looking for something fairly local?

Guess I should have mentioned Australia somwhere in my query!!

RE: 355kW Laurence Scott Electromotor

Have you tried the L-S website? http://www.laurence-scott.com/ there is an on-line form on this site that can be filled in but be quick as they are currently in administration.

Hoxton,

thread237-187224: Laurence Scott & Electromotors

Sad news - hopefully the receivers can keep it as a going concern.

LSE
LSE has now been bought by the ATB group so will continue, I guess. ATB own Schorch so how much will be moved to Germany in the future remains to be seen.

Spare frame
Unless you have a drawing of the original motor your only chance is to approach them direct

RE: 355kW Laurence Scott Electromotor

Bronob,

Motorspert is correct ATB have bought LSE and from what I have been told after a short transitional period their products will continue to be manufactured at the LSE factories.

As you are in Australia I recommend you contact your local Toshiba office as ATB manufacture products for Toshiba. They will be able to send your enquiry through as soon as the transition is completed.
