natural gas piping size calculation

(OP)
Hi, guys,I have a question about calculating, how do we calculate, the size of a supply line of natural gas to three hvac units,  about 1,000,000 btu/hr. The gas rizer is abot 200' ( 4" ). The units are installed in top of a building. Is a 3" line enough to supply these units, please help, thanx

RE: natural gas piping size calculation

There will be tables in the gas code that applies in your jurisdiction. I'd recommend using them, because they'll be what the local inspector will use.
