I would like to know the grain size of SA-240-304 and SA-240-304L stainless steel plate measured by Test Methods E 112. Coul some one help me?

It will be what ever it is.  From US mills it is rare to see anything coarser than an 8.  Often 10 or 12 is more likely.
It depends on gage, thermomechanical history, and what the mill is trying to make.
I have seen 4 or 5 in the past, so watch out.
