CATIA's product parametric

CATIA's product parametric

(OP)
Hi everybody,

I created a Catia's  parametric product (inside, I have many parametric parts linked between them - almost 70 files - parts and products) and I have to assembly 4 products (with differents parametres) into a final product . It's extremly complicated to change all their names before insert to the final product (what CATIA demand).

I don't know how exactly I have to do. But I think it will be esier to convert my product to some kind of file like what we obtain by using a CATIA script file. And with this one, I can make the assembly with these others products.

If you have the other solution, it's really helful for me.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

RE: CATIA's product parametric

Perhaps you should look into the PKT product.  Then, you will have the power to change your Assemblies from a spreadsheet.  Without PKT, you only have very limited design table control over assemblies.
