Anyone experience with type Q195, Q235 and 20 in square and round tube? or ST12 for flat stock? I'm curious about yield strengths...

After a post I've read in this forum about chinese plates and pipes, also, flanges and valves. I did never use it again ...
By the way, valves I still tried but what a trouble I get to myself!

RE: Chinese steel tube
We've had some trouble with Chinese nodular iron castings at my company. Specifically, issues with difficult machining (short tool life) of those castings. In addition, first article samples were produced in one Chinese foundry then full scale production was shifted to a different factory without our knowledge or approval. This particular incident was with parts sourced directly from Chinese companies.
Some resourcing to China has worked well and some has not. Be careful. Typically what has worked better is if we source from a middle man who deals with China directly and assumes some of the risk and also carries inventory here in this country (USA).
