(OP)
I try and translate and assy to a step, iges, parasolid from SE. Then i try to open it in SE(same version) The file opens and i see the "bodyfeature_1" in the feature manager, but there is no actual models showing. I've tried turning on everything. Still nothing. Any ideas.

THANKS!

RE: translating assy

When you import it, have you clicked on the Options... button before clicking open?

What options do you have checked?

Are you creating an import log?  If so, open the text file and verify that the import was successful.

The "bodyfeature_1" usually means that the import managed to resolve a water tight solid body.  I'm can't quite fathom why it wouldn't show in the graphics area.  Just to verify the obvious, zoom to fit?
