Specific Question Regarding Vector Lengths

Specific Question Regarding Vector Lengths

Specific Question Regarding Vector Lengths

(OP)
I have an equation z=2x+y.  My problem is that x and y are taken from two different experimental setups with different acquisition rates that cannot be changed.  Therefore, x is a 2975X1 double and y is a 10000X1 double.  I have tried to filter the 10000X1 down to a 2975X1, but I lose critical data points in the process.  Is there a way to add points to the 2975X1 to make it 10000X1?  Or does anyone have additional suggestions?

Thanks for the help,
Chris

Try the function interpl.

RE: Specific Question Regarding Vector Lengths

Sorry about the typo. That should be interp1. You should be able to increase the number of data points in x to match the length of y.
