Recording video in NX4?

Recording video in NX4?

Recording video in NX4?

(OP)
I am wanting to record a full revolution of an NX drawing (video file). Is it possible to do this in NX?
If not- what are my options?

Thanks

RE: Recording video in NX4?

Another approach, probably more useful for more complex animations, is to figure out how to control the on-screen position or orientation of the part with parameters; then export high-resolution screenshots as you change the parameter very slightly.  Then you can use a video-editing software to compile the screenshots into a high-quality animation.

RE: Recording video in NX4?

Looked into that too, downloaded several trial versions of screen capturing software. In the end I figured out turbodemo and camtasia are the higher quality solutions. Turbodemo can create smaller animations and still keep quality. I think camtasia is a little bit more user friendly.

RE: Recording video in NX4?

I'd certainly recommend Camtasia Studio. Although SnagIt (also Techsmith) may do what you want.
