Simple RTD filtering circuit

Simple RTD filtering circuit

(OP)
I have a noisy RTD input to a control network and suspect the analog input module. Problem is, I can't rule out the wiring between the RTD and the module. Is there an easy low pass filter capacitor or something that I can try to use to rule out the noise coming from the wiring?

RE: Simple RTD filtering circuit

Connect the RTD directly to the input. That will rule out noise coming in through the field wiring.

RE: Simple RTD filtering circuit

Or a resistor the value of which, is in the vicinity of the noisy signal you are seeing.
