Need to Find/Purchase 16-18" Aluminum Piping

Need to Find/Purchase 16-18" Aluminum Piping

(OP)
Hi All,
Does anyone know where I could find/purchase some 16"-18" aluminum piping, scedule 40 (preferably T6061 grade, but I can entertain other alloys. Minimum yield at scedule 40 needs to be a 30 ksi)? I don't need a lot of it (two seperate 6' long sections I think will do me fine). It is for an R&D project for something that is going into seawater (not for a long time, but enough so that I can't use carbon steel due to corrosion/rust.

Thanks for your time,

Gordon

You might consider rolling it from plate.

A marine exhaust fabricator who makes aluminum wet mufflers can make those for you.  They may need to butt weld two three foot sections for each.  They'll probably have 1/4" plate in stock in 5083 or 5086  alloys.
