Drawings: Detail Border

I am under the impression that you do not have to be limited to a circular border for a detail view in a drawing.  I think this because when you select the "detail view" command it states the following in the message box:

If you do not want a circular profile, please create the profile before selecting the detail view command.

However when I create a rectangle and then select detail view it changes the rectangle to a circle.

Am i doing something wrong?

Thanks

RE: Drawings: Detail Border

You need to uncheck the check box display as circle

RE: Drawings: Detail Border

You have to change the Detail Circle option to something other than Per Standard or Broken Circle and then you should be able to select the Profile button.

cheers
