Customer holes in SW toolbox database .... help

Customer holes in SW toolbox database .... help

Customer holes in SW toolbox database .... help

(OP)
I have added a few customer counter bored holes to the hole wizard database.  At first they worked fine but after a few weeks we decided to change how they were named (just the new holes)  Now, when I select those holes in the hole wizard I get the msg

'The dimension value 0 is out of range.  The old Value or _______ will be restored'

The ______ seems to be whatever the clearance of the last counter bored hole that was selected in the hold wizard.  If I say 'ok' on that msg SW will but the customer holes in but using the _____ value?   Any ideas?

RE: Customer holes in SW toolbox database .... help

I assume you don't have a backup of the working customised file?

Have you tried re-naming back to the original name?

Have you tried re-creating the custom holes and deleting the re-named ones?

cheers

It seems the dimension value 0 is the thru clearance hole for the counter bore.  There is a value for the clearance hole in the standard but SW doesn't seem to see it so it decides to use '0'.  I've tried re-naming the holes as well as deleting them altogether and starting again, nothing seems to work... any more ideas?
