UGNX2 Lost Annotation Placement dialogue

UGNX2 Lost Annotation Placement dialogue

UGNX2 Lost Annotation Placement dialogue

(OP)
I've lost my annotation placement dialogue. When I open my annotation editor. Where is it & how do I get it back???

Also, when creating annotation. How do I turn off the snap feature? When I get close to another dim. It always wants to snap to it. Very frustrating>

RE: UGNX2 Lost Annotation Placement dialogue

You can try bringing up the Annotation Editor, then right-clicking in a toolbar docking area where there is no toolbars and choose Annotation Placement from the list, if it isn't checked already.

Hold down the ALT key to turn off the snapping while placing annotation.

Some people are like slinkies....they don't really have a purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

RE: UGNX2 Lost Annotation Placement dialogue

As a last resort, Tools->Customize->Reset Layout may fix it.

As for the annotation, to disable the "snap", keep the ALT key pressed while placing the annotation.
