Length of direction lines in template (dft)

Length of direction lines in template (dft)

Hi everybody,

does anyone know where to change the length of the direction lines in a draft template? I can find the size of the arrows, but not the length of the line...

RE: Length of direction lines in template (dft)

IJsbrand,

AFAIK the only way to change it permanently is:

--> Format --> Style
  --> Style Type: Dimension
  --> Style: set to the style you want to moduify say DIN
  --> click Modify
     --> Tab --> Spacing
        -> set Text clearance gap to a differenet value

OK and --> Apply (optional)
Save your template. Note: this might lead to dimensions that
will show the arrows only.

RE: Length of direction lines in template (dft)

/Edit

the text orientation must be 'Horizontal' or 'Vertical'
for this to work. And: the TextBox that holds the dimenision
value will be of that dimension on both directions. This
might lead to unexpected results when the option "Fill
text with background colour" is set -- be warned winky smile
