Wireless Regulations in China

Wireless Regulations in China

(OP)
I am designing what amounts to a local pager to be sold in China, both Hong Kong and the Mainland.

Key information that I am missing is technical and legal information concerning the operation of unlicensed transmitters in China and Hong Kong. I am looking to use some simple modulation such as used in automobile key fobs or garage door remote controls.

Does anybody know where to find this information, or can any of you provide it directly.

Thank you in advance for any help or insight you can provide.

RE: Wireless Regulations in China

I don't see how that can work as pagers run with reasonably hefty transmitters nothing like a 40foot key-fob type system.

Someone may show up though here.  Good luck.

A little clarification - this is a short range local pager, perhaps 10 ro 20 meters indoors.

Who knows that the law in China says about this kind of transmitter?

Call a local UL testing site and ask them what documents you should be looking at... they should at least be able to point you in the right direction.
